Fitbit/MFP Calorie Discrepancy

Hi,
I've had a Fitbit hr for about 2 months. Use it for workouts&calories and use MFP for calories as I've seen recommended. Well I was exploring my dashboard in Fitbit and noticed in the calories breakfast had been logged at 3,001 calories and dinner had been logged at 3,500+ calories. I went back in my diary on MFP to check because there is no way I can even eat that much. My total for that exact day was 2,040.
I accidentally logged a workout in MFP the other week. Is that what might have messed it up? Because it did this for two days. Has this happened to anyone else?
