Getting started once again

I created an account about ooooo 55 months ago but did nothing. I have recently been dragged to the gym by my wife who is doing a 12 week challenge. I used to be quite active and I am still moderately fit but I am very sporatic in my approach. I want to start concentrating on daily excersize nd actually watching what I eat. I used to pretty much eat whatever I like and it doesnt affect me to much but I want to reduce body fat percentage now and slowly build a better shape and add some lean muscle mass. I have only recently gotten over a shoulder injury which has been plaguing me for nearly six years. Its not perfect now but greatly improved. So far I have been working my butt off for the last three weeks but I have only just started entering it on my fitness pal in the last few days. I plan to continue to enter it so I can watch my progress.
