Water is pretty plain, I have one glass of juice a week. I was wondering if you guys could give me suggestions for easy to make low calorie drinks (nutritious as well.)

Any suggestions welcomed :)

I love chilled plain water (not a fan of room temp water), but now and then I will infuse it with fruit just to add a little flavor. My favorite add-ins are berries, lemon, orange, grapefruit, and/or cucumber.

I mix just a splash of zero calorie flavored water to a glass of water. Makes is not quite as boring and gives it just enough flavor.

With all the artificial sweeteners, chemicals and preservatives and dyes, Mio is equaviliant to drinking diet soda.

Unsweetened tea, green tea (Oi Ocha is my favorite) and decaffeined unsweetened tea are my go-tos when I'm tired of water.

But there's nothing wrong with either Mio or diet soda so . . .

OP, Mio is like Crystal Light but it's liquid drops that you add to your water.

Yep! Agreed. Im not perfect, I make crystal light now and again but in general it is best to avoid the artificially sweetned stuff.

I had an infusion pitcher that was great. I'd make cucumber mint water, lemon water, strawberry water! Anything really. Now if Im really wanting flavor I drink tea or just add a bit of lemon to plain water.

Unless artificial sweeteners cause health concerns for someone, there's nothing wrong with consuming them. I pretty much drink sparkling water and Diet Dr. Pepper.

I too like the sparkling water and I also drink diet pepsi and diet cherry Dr. Pepper. I have lost weigh SEVERAL times (lots of weight), but I never gave up my diet soda. I DO also drink a lot of water. No fruit juice at all because it raises the blood sugar too fast.

Buy a single large ruby red grapefruit. Juice the whole fruit in an electronic citrus juicer (less than $20 at Walmart). Scoop out all or most of the pulp and put it in your juice. Stir it and drink. Log it as a single large grapefruit. I love grapefruit and I love pulpy, fresh-squeezed juice, so to me, this is fabulicious. Maybe give it a try.

This actually sounds really good. But I can't justify a juicer for just this. LOL And sadly, I can't eat grapefruit with my meds.

Have you heard of the natural sugar supplement stevia? I've done a bit of reading but I eat yogurt with that. So delicious.

+1 for the Vitamin Water Zero. My favorite is Revive then Rise and Lemonade. I drink almost nothing but these. They've helped me cut out a lot of soda.

I've also just gotten into green tea. My current favorite is Lipton cranberry pomegranate.

i actually love water all day unless I am eating then I hate it. +1 for the vitamin water... also what I've been doing is take soda water and add like a half a can of soda.

EDITED BECAUSE soda isn't nutritious but halving it takes away some calories and its delicious ha.
