I have not been able to lose the fat in my belly and sides. I run four times a week and I eat my recommended calories yet I still can't lose this fat. Is there something wrong what I'm doing? I lost 30 easily two years ago but this last few pounds are hard as hell.

The last few pounds are always going to be stubborn :]
But know you are doing nothing wrong here.
What I would suggest is incorporating some weight/strength training into your routine. I lost 33 lbs and was at a very healthy weight but my tummy was still wobbly and 'flabby'. I've been lifting for around 2 months now and I'm starting to see some nice (albeit slow) results.0 -
If you are apple shaped that will likely be the last place you lose. I have the same problem with my thighs (I'm a pear/hourglass). And yes, the less you have to lose the harder it seems.0
