Binging on a Rest Day

I feel so guilty right now. I ate sooo much milano cookies and cake. It's suppose to be my rest day and I was expecting myself to eat as clean as possible today and not to eat as much. Instead I went overboard on sweets. Would it be a good idea for me to workout and burn all of this off even though it is my rest day?

Just move on tomorrow like it never happend. That can be a dangerous road to start going down.0

draw a line under it and move on. It's done, it's over - forget it and get back on the wagon!0 -
Start again fresh tomorrow. Take your rest day your body needs it. Just look at it as a lessonn learned. Try not to have foods you may be tempted to binge on in the house you cant eat whats not there.0

Don't apologize. Some days you've just gotta eat.
Cake is my downfall so I try very hard to keep it out of the house. Gotta look into those coffee mug sized cakes you can microwave (pinterest). That would calm my cravings and keep me away from a full pan. :blushing:
But again, don't apologize. Work to advance but be content.0 -
Have your rest day.
1 binge surely won't hurt.
Better luck next time with the clean eating on rest day :flowerforyou:0 -
Oh and I also left something out. I had 2 cheat days last week and it was all on the weekend. Really bad binging yesterday on dessert.... This is why I totally regret today so technically I ate terrible for 3 days straight....0

You can't undo it....just remove temptation from the house and it can't happen again. Don't beat yourself up it won't help0 -
I prefer Googling on my rest day. Never liked Binging much.0

That's why I don't do "cheat days". I have to keep myself in check by looking at the portion sizes and calories. Don't get me wrong, I do eat things like cookies or ice cream once in a while, but I use the portion sizes and I count it into my daily alotment.0

I totally agree with you. When I was doing the Insanity workout for 2 months I did not allow myself to have any cheat days and did not binge at all for the whole 2 months... Now that I have cheat days once a week it can sometimes go on for 2-3 days or even longer because I get so use to it... it's very frustrating.0 -
I agree with some of the other posters.... Tomorrow is a new day. Start over in the morning try to do better... One meal at a time till you get back on track. Don't beat yourself up cheat days happen. Just decide tomorrow ill do better0
