Good memories that you want to go back to? Or old ones you want to forget? Not sure what exactly you're asking, but a little more info would help.

Probably not, but it's not healthy so I don't tend to do it too often. If you just keep looking back, you already know how those stories end. The future is more fun. It's still unwritten.

Well, if they are really bad memories that cause you pain and you are unable to move on, maybe some sort of therapy would help.

If they aren't that serious (or you don't have access to therapy) try visualization. Every time an old memory pops into your head picture yourself putting it away in a box. It's not gone, you can find it when you want, but you don't have to carry it around with you all the time. Or picture it as a thought-bubble over your head (like in a cartoon or comic) and visualize yourself popping it.

Keep in mind that you may have to do this over and over with the same memories. It's not like they disappear, but you can manger them a bit better.

They aren't bad memories, they're good ones but I can't forget them, they just keep replaying and replaying in my head. The person whom made these memories with me is totally changed person, but the memories are still here:/

I'm so sorry you can't change the past but you can change the future. Ok, things were not good for how ever long, but you are now working towards being in a good place again and with every day you take your relationship with food in hand you will also move away from those raw memories. Having good nutrition (a bit of everything) supporting you will help improve your mood.

Life does get much much better if you take the first steps. This has happened to so many of us in our own ways.

Oh, I see what you mean. I'm sorry. That is tough to deal with, but I can relate. It's painful and it's a grieving process - mourning the loss of the person you once knew. In other words, take the time to mourn, but then realize when it's time to move forward. The pain will subside with time and you can enjoy the good memories as you wish.

You'll have lots of other positive, healthy people in your life. We all have a few bad ones, though. Give it time. You will heal. I'm hoping you don't have contact with this person still? If so, try not to. That only delays the whole process.
