Hello, everyone! I am fairly new to this site, but I am really enjoying it so far :) My question is, do any of you know if any good workouts that burn fat specifically in your hips and/or thighs? Which exercises have you had the mose success with?

Thanks, everyone!

Spot fat burning isn't possible. If you want to lose fat in those areas, you have to burn fat every where else also.

Exersises such as jogging, long walks and circuit training has reduced my body fat drastically. Lifting heavy weights also assists in burning fat while also preserving your muscle.

If you want to reduce your body fat without excersise thats also possible. Simply eat at a calorie deficit and try to eat healthy at lest 80% of the time. However.. with this approach you might lose muscle as well. Which is why lifting weights is so important.

It is not possible to burn fat from specific body areas--fat is burned from all over. You can do exercises like squats, lunges and deadlifts to improve the shape, but you will not be able to burn fat from any area selectively.

No such thing as spot reduction. Your still going to lose weight throughout your entire body.
  • A combination of cardio and strength training will help you to tone up your "problem areas".

only if they're losing everywhere else. There's no way to reduce fat in "problem areas" without there being an overall reduction.
  • I had the same question, thanks for the advice!

You can't go against your genetics. Just be patient
