Slimming clubs/ exercise

I've been going to a slimming club for 4 weeks lost 1st 8lb very pleased. Then I started extreme exercise and weighing heavily. I know all this water retention business but it still annoying!!
My leader thinks I shouldn't exercise so hard just go for a walk. But even though my body feels like it's been hit my a bus I feel really good. Now I can't decide to stay in the class or do it alone. I don't want to stop exercising but can't stand seeing no weight loss for all the hard work I'm putting in!!
Anyone else been through this.

    a 2 lb a week average is super! And weights are awesome. Add me and I'll cheer you on!

    What do you call extreme excersize?
    Getting fit can only benefit in the long run...it's not just a number on the scales.
    But don't go too hard and burn out (been there done that)
    Can you not wait a few weeks and do class and excersize? Should get some results?
