    Congrats to everyone who met goal or were close. I haven't run since Friday, life is just getting in my way. I have a 5K tonight with Skip called the Galaxy of Lights so I'll finish the month around 92 miles almost 18 short of goal which I'm cool with this month. I guess I'll see you there @stoshew71 there too. Go away rain ha ha

    @moyer566 great pictures, the cinnamon buns look awesome. My first 5K was the Kolache 5K in Texas and they have kolaches at the end. OMG!
    @karef hang in there
    @stoshew71 great bib
    @elise4270 I brought Skip a New Balance running jacket yesterday, I'll let you know if she likes it after tonight. It was $80 but it was 25% off and then I had a $25 gift card so it was a good price. http://www.newbalance.com/pd/windcheater-jacket/WJ53111.html?dwvar_WJ53111_color=Imperial Print#color=Imperial Print

    I have another commitment and won't be there tonight. Jennifer will tho. Emily was supposed to do it as well, but she caught something over the wekend and stayed home from school today.

    Then we will be looking for Jenn. Hope Emily feels better soon.

    Great article on how we buzzkill ourselves after a race.

    11/1 - 3.81 C25k W1D3 (.73 + 2.32 + .76)
    11/2 - 5.78 walking lunch break + evening walk (3.3 + 2.48)
    11/3 - 2.99 C25k W2D1 + continuation of lunch run (2.09 + .9)
    11/4 - 1.78 nice, easy, comfortable lunch walk.
    11/5 - 3.13 C25k W2D2 + 180 spm practice (2.23 + .9)
    11/6 - 4.61 walking lunch break + evening walk (2.36 + 2.25)
    11/7 - 2.16 C25k W2D3 (2.16)
    11/8 - Full rest day. Was my 1 yr anniversary for starting to lose weight so I went SHOPPING!!
    11/9 - Full rest day.
    11/10 - 6.17 C25k W3D1 + 180 spm practice (2.24 + .7) C25k repeat + 180 spm practice (2.01 + 1.22)
    11/11 - 2.8 walking lunch break *noon after the first snowfall of the season. I was overdressed. (Again)*
    11/12 - 2.93 C25k W3D2 + continuation of lunch run (2.12 + .81)
    11/13 - Events of the day truly made it Friday the 13th. But it's over and possibly lent itself to the personal best of the next day!
    11/14 - 6.01 Longest run of my life! MOD (mantra of the day) "Far, not fast." Was supposed to do C25k W3D3 but I forgot lol.
    11/15 - Recovery day. **Never really knew what that meant before.
    11/16 - 2.98 C25k W3D3 + continuation of lunch run (2.08 + .9)
    11/17 - Snowmageddon!
    11/18 - Wind day
    11/19 - 3.31 C25k W4D1 + continuation of lunch run (2.33 + .98)
    11/20 - Sick day
    11/21 - Sick day
    11/22 - Sick day
    11/23 - 4.1 Sick day- but HAD to get out and do SOMETHING!
    11/24 - 4.19 Not my best experience but I was really glad to be out and doing it. I'm still learning how to dress for the weather so that I'm focused on running and not on my comfort level. Had to not let myself quit, and allow myself to walk when I felt I needed it. I'm not at 100% and had to let myself do what I could without expectations. THAT was hard!
    11/25 - 3.02 Was supposed to be a walk day but I really just wanted to run. So I did. Today was easier than last night and I expect to do even better when I'm back to feeling normal again.
    11/26 - 3.45 Treadmill. I hate that damned thing. BUT, at least it was indoors and not outside with the snow falling onto black ice that I won't see until I'm face down trying to peel my lips off of it lol.
    11/27 - Rearranged furniture in my apartment. Lots of walking but didn't record any of it.
    11/28 - 2.5 Walking.
    11/29 - Family day! My daughter and grandkids came over and now my place looks all Christmas-y!!

    I'm going to be short of my goal for this month but I'm totally ok with that. I'll add onto next month what I didn't get done for November.

    I don't own their stuff but I hear NOXGEAR has great gear for running in the dark. They are having a cyber Monday $20 off sale.

    https://www.noxgear.com/

    I also did a quick google of cyber Monday running gear and got this site with a list.

    @kareF - Sorry for the not good news! Good luck with your treatment! Prayers your way.
    @SkippyGirlsMom - Congrats to you and Skip! Great job on 15k challenge! Jealous that you live somewhere that you could dress like that for Thanksgiving running!
    @_nikkiwolf_ - Ouch! Take care of yourself! I did something similar last summer when I was working at home...it got better faster than I expected...yay!
    @Orphia - @kristinegift nailed the list
    @9voice9 - Nope, I don't think you overdid it at all :D
    @moyer566 - Awesome! Thanks for sharing! Looks yummy!
    @afrench050612 - Don't be upset...we all miss them some months (or all). Great job on the longest run yet!

    @karllundy thanks...actually my Mom lives somewhere I can dress like that for Thanksgiving. The race was in New Port Richey, FL. You never know what the weather here in Alabama will be like, though I think it was in the upper 60s here.
    @elise4270 me too!!
    @mrskgrady GREAT picture!!!!!

    This morning on the way to work I passed a transmission place and they had a sign out front "We have pumpkin spice transmission fluid!"

    They're using coffee in place of transmission fluid? LOL!

    I did not get to run at all this weekend due to too much traveling. We went from Cincinnati to Pittsburgh to Morgantown, WV to Parkersburg, WV in 4 days and just made it back this afternoon in time for a half day of work. Unless I run 17 miles tonight (which is NOT in the plans), I am not going to make my November goal. A combination of post marathon blahs and getting back to life left me coming up a bit short, but I am okay with it. It feels good to put running on the back burner for a while.

    On a side note, Thanksgiving Turkey Trot was a pretty good success. Hubby and I ran the Pittsburgh Turkey Trot. I ran the 5K with him and it was his first sub 10 minute mile 5k!. Then I did the 5 mile and got the EXACT same chip time as last year's 5 mile Turkey Trot (completely different race). I was looking for a sub 37:30, but ended up with a 37:47. I just missed an AG award by coming in 4th in my age group. Something to shoot for next year!

    Aaaah, sweet, sweet biking! Hamstring is definitely doing SOMETHING, and it feels harder/firmer than my other one when engaged (though not when idle). (This is why I wanted to bike so badly this weekend: I can't reach down and feel my hamstrings when I'm running, but I can on a stationary bike, and boy was it revealing!) I think some icing, foam rolling and much more biking is in my immediate future, but I am glad that the hamstring was doing its job. It was sort of loose and weak before, so this is a good sign! Waiting for my feet to stop cramping so I can do my bridges and planks (anyone else have major foot cramp problems after biking, or just me?).

    Looking forward to December!

    @moyer566 That Trot looks so fun! And the cinnamon rolls... yum!

    @skippygirlsmom Great article re: killing the post-race buzz. I do this all the time; the thrill is usually gone by the end of the day. Love the tips at the end.
