Home treadmill or stair climber

I'm buying a house and i feel like i'd want a home treadmill (or stair climber), do any of you have one and have any recommendations as far as features or things to especially look for. thanks, and if it matters, lets go with the premise that i'm not overly concerned with price.

Well for me I'd buy a stair climber, but I live in a rancher house (rambler for you Americans) and the only stairs I go up anymore are the ones that take me upstairs to the entrance of the gym. Plus for some reason I actually like the stair climber and spend at least 20 minutes on it each gym session.

Id go with a stair climber because unless you have a conveniently located stadium its hard to replicate outside...you can always run outside. Also, it takes less space and is safer piece of equipment to have around if you have kids. (I have a friend who was badly injured when we were messing around on her mom's treadmill in the 3rd grade).
