I cook!
Figuring calories is hard and very time consuming.
We don't eat fast food at all, haven't for a few years.
I don't fry anything. Processed food of any kind ain't on the menu.
I think most of my excess cals have been from salad dressings, condiments and such.
Plus the crap I have brought home from work to munch on. I'm not doing that anymore.
Do I need to get a food scale or something?

Generally, I find it is easier to count calories because I cook. I can even estimate calories very well because I know how many calories are in most of my ingredients. I also love to make salad dressings that are flavorful but so low in calories I don't really need to be strict on the measurements. A scale is good if you don't know what 4 ounces is.0
