Hey everyone,
My name is Brian and I'm 25 from South Carolina. In my high school years I was in pretty good shape at 190 lbs @ 5'11". However, by Junior year I found myself at around 235 lbs at 6'0" Everyone's heard of the freshman 15, but I added along a sophomore and junior 15 as well. My busy college schedule got me out of my workout routine and getting started in the real world didn't help any either.
I got married last June and was 242 lbs. and wearing size 40 pants. I can't explain it, but one day I finally found my discipline and got back in the gym in late October of 2012, weight right at the same 242. Today, I'm down to 211 and wearing size 34 pants for the first time in a long time. During this time, I've lost a lot of weight and gained quite a bit of strength ( my bench press has gone from 200 max up to 315 ). I've done it with the gym at least 4x a week and 30 minutes of HIIT after each weightlifting session. I'm taking creatine, protein, a good multivitamin, CLA, and a OxyElite pro as fatburner.
I'm looking for friends to help me stay accountable and also some who I can help as well.
