I've been using MyFitnessPal for about a year now with lots of noteworthy success. I've lost a total of 71.6lbs over the course of that year. I am on track to lose 100lbs, which would weigh me in at 235lbs. I've always been a regular user of MyFitnessPal, but I've never really gotten into the community of like-minded, goal oriented folks like myself. Tell me about your weight loss journey, whether you've just started, just ended, or currently in the middle of. Also, feel free to message me on here if you have any questions or need any advice! I also have an Instagram, Twitter and Facebook!

I started out weighing 111kg and aiming to get to 60kg. So far lost 11.6kg. Very pleased to get under the 100kg mark on the scales!

My target is 1kg a week which should get me close to my ideal weight next summer

I'm about 33% into my little weight loss quest - started at 318, currently just over 270. My goal is to be fit enough by the end of 2016 that I can climb Kilimanjaro in the spring of 2017, so in addition to calorie counting I am doing a lot of training. So far so good - I'm well on track to be a decent weight at that time, and the cardio has improved my energy and my various heart parameters (blood pressure, heart rate, heart rate recovery) a ton.

My journey has been a roller coaster ride I lost a lot of weight about two years ago, but I did it the wrong way, by starving myself basically. When I couldn't take it anymore I just kept eating and eating and the weight piled back on. A few days ago I joined MFP again, in hopes of loosing this weight the right way.

I'm in the middle. Used the app for almost 2 years and lost 100 pounds. I have about 40 more pounds to go. One of my goals was to make sure I have very little extra skin, I was able to have zero extra skin so far.

@TatajanaScylinda, that's awesome! What are some things you did to help make sure you didn't end up with some extra skin?

i am in the middle of my journey. learning to listen to my body and be a mindful eater/drinker. only recently have i had the scale going down regularly. I am trying to learn that the # on the scale doesn't determine my self-worth or how well my journey is going. not an easy journey for me.
