Well, I did it! I ran in my first 5k. 41 minutes, which I thought was ok. I can't wait to do the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving!!!

I posted here before about giving slack, and how strict I was being on myself. It's Halloween, and I'm making my kids mummy hotdogs, and grilled cheese and soup! And I'm eating it! I'm going to have a bat cookie that I'm making and I will swipe my traditional 3 Reesie cups from the candy buckets.

And then a scary movie and popcorn.

Tomorrow? I'll eat my egg whites and spinach for breakfast and Greek yogurt and chicken for lunch.

But tonight? I'm having some fun! I'll get back tomorrow. I know I will, because I've come too far, and I'm not turning back now.

Balance. I'm learning it!

Happy Halloween, everyone!!!

Wonderful, it is nice to learn you can relax for a night, enjoy it, then carry on as normal the next day. That is how life is lived.
Have a fun Halloween with the children.

    Cheers, h.
