I've just overcome shin splints - these shoes are the first of many which didn't make me feel like I was absolutely pounding the pavement when I run.. They are a few months old and I've done 301 km in them - I wear them for walking and running.

Over the last week however, both arches of my feet feel like I have been walking on rocks :worried:
I have gone out today and bought some arch support inserts which I'll try on a short run in a few days (I'll give my feet a few days of rest).. But just wondered if anyone else has experienced this?

My physio and running store person have said that my feet are fairly neutral with good arches so the Nike Zoom Pegasus 32 is a good shoe for me.. and up until now they have been great! Just not sure why my arches have started to ache lately. I go to bed glad for the rest my feet will have, though wake up with my arches still aching so I'm not sure.

The thread on the bottom of the shoes looks untouched so I'm not sure what to do.

If the inserts don't help I'll go back to physio and get my arches sorted out.
