When depression strikes

Well its finally here. That first make it or break it point. The first real hurdle. I hoped I had beat depression for good this time but it seems it has reared it's ugly head. I don't want to stop. I want to keep going. That darn voice that says you will fail and you can't do it is talking again. All I know how to do is keep reminding myself of how far I've come and how I NEVER want to be my beginning weight. How for once in my life I can't be classified as obese. I'm totally fine with overweight for now but I'm just sick of this extra weight. Anyone else struggle with depression? Any helpful tips?

I struggle with depression. I find exercise helps to keep it at bay, especially when I don't want to exercise. I jog, but even a walk outside can help.

What helps for me, to keep on track, is focusing on smaller goals. Don't worry about the end number, set small goals and celebrate those, as well as any accomplishments. I'm 5 lbs away from getting out of the obese category.

Feel free to add me as a friend or send a message if you need more support. And keep remembering how far you've come. If you need to maintain for a bit, do it. Maintaining is still a victory, especially when your fall back (if you're like me) is to eat and then end up gaining.
