Quick question about Pacer app, walking, and logging calories

I'm using the pacer app to keep track of my walking that I do, not just working out. But for now walking is the only exercise (per dr) that I can do and I"m doing leslie sansones walking videos. I haven't been logging the walking videos since I keep my phone on me and it is synced with mpf...For fear of over estimating my calories burned, but should I be logging this in addition to the pacer app? So I'm not way under eating (though with 100 + pounds to lose, some under eating is probably not going to hurt me right now).
