Gym during lunch break at work

I've seen people post that they go to the gym during their lunch break at work.
How do you all do it? How do you fit changing and everything into an hour?
Would love to use this as an option eventually, any tips?

Well, for me it's fairly easy since my company has a weight room.
Total time for me is usually around 1:15. Not a big deal since I'm in early, work as long as needed and on call/available at all hours.
Probably doesn't hurt that I run our department too......0 -
I do it. Total time ranges from 1h to 1.15. Luckily they don't seem to mind. When I do my weights I usually clock in just under 1 hour but when I do boxing it goes over as it's a class.
My tip is to get your workouts done in 45 mins- that will give you 5 mins to change into exercise clothes at the beginning, and 10 mins to step under shower (none of this washing hair/makeup stuff - literally just get rid of sweat) and put clothes back on.

It takes me about an hour and a half, but I come in early or stay a little later. My hours are pretty flexible. I COULD fit it into an hour, but I'd be pretty rushed.0

this. I workout during my lunch break, but my gym is about 5 minutes from my workplace. It's usually 1:15 for me as well. I do compound lifts, so I get more bang for my buck in less time.0 -
yep - I go beast mode doing weights. Super sets usually, not bro workouts where you sit there and wait for ages between sets. I finish one set on one thing and do another on something else then rest. (Eg - I'll do Arnold Press, front raises then side raises all in one go, then rest. Repeat). You can always manage to do at least 2 things together. One thing I like to do together is deadlifts and Push presses - I stay on the platform and don't need to hog anything apart from a second bar to push press with...0

This is more or less what I do as well. My gym is very near my office, and I change quickly, do my strength training session (and I do supersets to speed up the process a bit), and afterwards I rinse off quickly and reapply deodorant. I keep face wipes and makeup and dry shampoo in my gym bag if I need them, but I don't do much cardio at lunch breaks, usually just a quick mile or two on the treadmill, so mostly I'm not gross enough to need them. If I did get especially sweaty, I just wipe off my makeup, spray the roots of my hair, and apply some tinted moisturizer and mascara. It's not a perfect solution but it keeps me from smelling in the office and it's good enough if I don't have important meetings or anything later in the day.
I save the long, seriously sweaty treadmill sessions for before/after work when I have enough time to shower and fix my hair and face properly.0 -
I work out at lunch. We are encouraged to be healthy/fit and to make use of the gym. I take 1 hour for lunch & just do a get-it-done and get out workout. I find minimalist strength endurance workouts, density workouts, HIIT, metabolic circuit or cardio workouts are good choices.
I leave 5 mins to get changed, 45 mins to workout including warmup & cool down and 15 mins for a quick shower & change. I don't wash my hair, it's just basically a quick wash and soap to get rid of sweat.0 -
When I worked in an office, I usually spent more than an hour at the gym but no one cared because I worked late.0
