Confused about all the 'rules' for weightloss?

Don't be. It's trial and error. People all have different lifestyles, metabolisms and ways of looking at weight loss. Most people have different goals, different start points, and different things to fit into the equation.

So try a few things, do whats working for you, don't get too down if any one thing isn't clicking.

After all.... every good choice will have a positive impact. Any progress, whether scale or NSV, is good progress.

Just thought I'd put this out there if anyone, like I was when I started here, is feeling a bit overwhelmed by all thé people giving you 'should's and 'must's.

I totally overwhelmed myself when I started on here. First of all the lingo made no sense to me since I'd never heard of BMR and TDEE and all the rest of it and then I spent months trying to work out my macros which I should have just left alone after talking to my doctor. It is all a bit confusing to new people!

yup. and simple, legit questions get mocking, harsh answers...

then you get given that bloody ín place of a road map' link, which confused me even more!

I think.... you genuinely wanna lose weight, and get healthy + you genuinely try = a healthier you, regardless.
