stretch marks

When I think about my weight loss journey (even though I'm at the beginning), I feel very confident that I will get down to a size that makes me comfortable. However, I have some pretty significant stretch marks (some from puberty, some from the freshman 15, and then the professional school freshman 15....) and I'm wondering if there's any way I'll ever get rid of those? Have any of you who have lost significant amounts of weight also lost your stretch marks? I realize they're scars, but I'm sort of hoping they become less noticeable...

Stretch marks are forever. They fade and turn the color of our skin, but nothing gets rid of them completely. I have them all over my stomach and legs. Nobody notices when I wear a bikini. Most people have them.

They don't go away. They can become a bit less noticeable in a healthy weight range, but still I think that really depends on genetics and how bad they are. Mine are a bit better, but they are there. I don't care about them though because I'm thin now and feel confident...and have other things to worry about.
