Time Off

I had a great head of steam going from like, last December through about July.
Then everything ground to a halt. I concluded my strength training wasn't working and starting drifting through different rep schemes. I stopped tracking, I stopped walking at lunch.
Things were OK but definitely not moving in the direction I wanted.
I finally feel like I'm starting to head back in the right direction. I made a bunch of hard-boiled eggs for snacks for the first time in two or three months.
Does this ever happen to anyone else? Falling off and staying off for a few months?

Whenever I fall off, it's because I've been too focused on being perfect for too long. In sum, it's because whatever program I set myself on was unsustainable. Now when I make life changes, I make them one at a time and slowly--that seems to limit my desire to rebel and go back to being lazy. Loving the process helps you stick with it, in my experience.0
