  • This is not going to be successful.....fad diets only became a fad because people were successful. Now, I'm not saying I support many of this, BUT, I WILL SUPPORT SHAKEO! Shakeology is not a fad diet at all. It is a healthy alternative to balance your diet, rather than eating an unhealthy lunch. Do they say you can lose wait on shakeology? Well yes they do, and you can. But, they do NOT claim that you can get SKINNY. Getting in shape requires exercise. Being healthy on the other hand though requires the proper, BALANCED diet. This products helps the people balance out their macros (seeing as 90% of people don't really understand macros or how a nutrutional plan is really built. They just think oh its a vegetable I can eat all Want. Or people replacing animal protiens because they think a steak is unhealthy for them.) Either way you should be more specific on what you want to fight against. There is nothing wrong with Shakeology or Dr. Oz. Both have proven results time and time again to the people who has put towards the commitment and effort.

Since I went from 167 in January to 134 today (5 months) on a low carb diet, and it took me 3.5 YEARS to lose 35 lb on a traditional diet, and since you are calling low carb a fad diet, I can't support it.

Another in agreement. A low-carb lifestyle has been recognized as a viable way for those with metabolic dysfunction to re-gain control - hardly a fad diet. I'm a firm believer in IIFYM - my macros just happen to reflect an emphasis on fats and proteins rather than carbs.

I am against fad starvation diets, but it seems as soon as one falls out of favor, ten more spring up to take it's place.

Unfortunately, there are too many greedy people that want to make money by tempting overweight people to reach out for a "quick fix" diet that often does more harm than good.
