Will power shot - how to handle overeating in times of stress

Right now my life seems to be in a negative space. I am trying hard to hold my self together emotionally but I go in and out of blue moods. Loosing weight and being in control seems like an impossible feat. Though I would like to be in control of at least one thing in my life otherwise I will feel like everything is spinning out of control. Any advice on how to stay committed to good health when emotionally all you want to do is sabotage yourself cause it's easier than dealing with pain or stress.
