Surprised by New/Positive Cravings

Since I've started focusing on my diet, I've learned that I absolutely love brussels sprouts! And now I'm craving them for dinner tonight. Has anyone else started getting cravings for "healthy" stuff that you're surprised by?

Can't say I've ever craved Brussels sprouts. lol I get cravings for different things at different times. Lately I've been on a zucchini & yellow squash kick for supper and caramel apples for dessert.0

Mmmmmm brussels sprouts! I craved those tonight, too. And broccoli, I was in a serious mood for broccoli. So, I made an Israeli couscous lemon pepper dijon thing with roasted brussels sprouts, steamed broccoli and cherry tomatoes. I ate the entire bowl, definitely be making that again, so easy, quick and delicious!

I love Brussels sprouts!! I also had no idea I loved them until I started trying to lose weight. They are really good sautéed in sesame oil with salt and pepper.
I was craving broccoli all month but for some reason my grocery store was always out or it looked rough when I went to buy it. Finally found some the other day and treated myself with cheese sauce to top it off. Nom nom nom...0 -

Yeah, like cheeseburgers or steaks. As far as veggies go I've always liked and eaten veggies.
But then I'm not sure what you mean by "healthy".0 -
Yes! That happened last time I lost weight, too. Some of that healthy food is just really good once you've been eating it for a while
I have big Roma tomatoes in my fridge for a snack, because I like snacking on them. That's crazy talk for me when chocolate still exists in the worldI even found myself enjoying salad greens from a fast food place, of all places. I've found my inner rabbit

I have found myself craving protein bars some days... Which I think is a fabulous substitute for my usual cravings, like plain old chocolate bars. Definitely a new thing for me.0
