Congratulations!
Reading your thread and good to hear that you lost your weight eating 1700-1800 calories.
I have been worrying that perhaps I may not lose weight eating same amount. I am walking 3 and a half miles daily so building up calories.
I'll take your advice and eat more protein. I worry about what to eat to use up the calories.

    Thanks, I appreciate that. I didn't see a point in overly restricting my calories. Eating at a reasonable deficit of 500 calories a day less than maintenance was enough to allow me to lose the weight comfortably.
