In a slump

So I've kinda been in a slump the last few weeks.. I've been over-eating and binging, eating my emotions..and today I have had enough! I know how to eat healthy, I know what foods are good for my body, I know when I am hungry and I know when I am full (usually I'm shutting this voice out!) so I've decided to take a break from logging every day and just try to use common sense! I don't want to yo yo anymore..I get stuck in this cycle of "oh I already messed up today might as well eat this box of cookies..cause I won't have calories for them tomorrow.." Which is so dumb!
I'm still going to use this community for inspiration and I may go back to counting.. We shall see!! Anyone been successful using a similar technique?

I find I'm an all or or nothing person. I do better if I log everything that I eat. It makes me not want to eat a couple pieces of candy if I know I have to log them. I have to go all the way and be 100% committed. You can do it! You can't get worse if you are making good decisions and being healthy. Only get healthier!

I also was having a bad week and pulled myself out of it. What seems to be working for me, is keeping healthy snacks at hand. And counting your calories to make sure that you don't go over helps me also. I keep a list of reasons why I don't want to binge on the fridge. When I stopped using mfp the binges got worse. The first step to getting over it, is by knowing why you binge.
