I like maine coons and forest cats. I like doglike cats mostly
and I do not do sloppy dogs. all my dogs have poise

I grew up hating cats thinking that they were creepy and evil, besides that I was allergic. About 15 years ago we were home hunting and this stray Black cat kept showing up and was so damned adorable and friendly. After about the 5th time encountering this cat my two youngest children begged and pleaded to take him home. I must admit that his Loving nature reeled me in and I was on board!
I had to take tons of Allergy pills and slowly ween myself off of them but eventually was able to tolerate him being in the same house. Luckily he was a fast learner and never got on the furniture and knew that his bed was the only place he could lay in the house. The first week or two he would hiss at our Dog and I was ready to get rid of him, but they ended up best friends eventually and actually played together! I grew to Love this Beautiful lil guy with Jade green eyes who looked liked a miniature Panther and was so Happy to have him in our Family! He passed away a year ago Thanksgiving and I was very broken up about it, but we had nearly 14 years of happiness with Jade and I'll never forget him!

Ive always wanted a norwegian forest in our family. Though I dont favor cats or dogs over eachother. I love my aussie/heeler. But also love kitties.0

We had Korats. A brother and sister. They don't shed and are highly intelligent. They learned how to open kitchen cabinet doors and hide in them. Then they pulled up the heating registers and crawled down the heating vent. What trouble we went through to get them out. Ended up screwing down all the registers. Beautiful blue color and small - maybe 8 to 10 pounds.

Both of mine are grey tabby cats. The first one I got in 2005. She was born on my friends farm. I named her RaeLeigh. That mine and my friend's middle names together.
The second kitty was abandoned on someone's lawn at the age of almost 3 weeks. She was tiny and needed a mommy fast. I rearranged my schedule to feed her every 2 or 3 hours. She will be 4 this fall.
They are both wonderful kitties.0 -
I think my favorite breed was the one who wore leather and a mask, and sometimes helped Batman0

The common alley cat, I will adopt from a shelter rather than pay a breeder for an animal with genetic defects.

If I had to pick just one....I would say bobtail cats.
