Just curious about a good weight loss rate for my body. Im am a 5'1 female weighing 145 lbs. I am a little less than 15 lbs from a healthy BMI however most women my height weigh or aim to weigh between 100-115 lbs. My goal is 130 and I will adjust from there. I lost a majority of the weight at 1200 calories a day but am wondering should I aim for 1200 calories and a 1lb a week since I could loose another 45 lbs and be within a healthy range or should I aim for .5lbs a week and eat at 1440 for a healthier weightloss? Is this just personal preference at this point ?

Will you be doing any exercise at all? MFP gives you 1200 before exercise. Add in 240 calories of exercise (and eat those calories back)......it brings you to 1440 AND 1 pound loss per week.

    Win / Win !

Slow weight loss helps you retain more lean muscle. Slow weight loss calories are closer to maintenance calories to the transition is smoother. But yeah, the choice is yours.

I TRY to do cardio a minimum of 30 minutes 3 times a week. I just hate excercise sooo much lol.
