try easing up on the oil, use fresh tomatoes instead of sauce. You can go with a standard margharita(sp?) and put on fresh mozzarella and some basil leafs. That wouldn't be terribly unhealthy.

What do you mean base? for bread, you can go half and half, bread flour and whole wheat flour. Pure whole wheat just comes out as grainy in my opinon, not a fan.

Hm, i'm not sure as far as that goes. I'm pasting my pizza dough recipe.

    Ingredients

    1 cup Water, warm
2-1/4 tsps (1 package) Yeast, active dry
    1 Tbsp Honey
    2 tsps Salt
    2 Tbsps Olive Oil
3 cups Bread Flour (or sub half regular/ wheat)

    Directions

    1. In a large mixing bowl, stir Yeast and Honey into warm Water. After this is mixed, pour in Salt, Oil and half the Flour. Mix well.

    2. Once that Flour is incorporated, start adding flour little by little until it meets the correct consistency(slightly tacky, not sticky).

    3. Knead for 6 minutes. Throw it in a greased bowl. Cover the dough liberally with oil. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours.

    Yield: 2-12 inch Pizza Crusts(approx. 1 lb)

    Here's my healthy pizza recipe:

    1) Don't eat for 2 days beforehand
    2) Eat an entire pizza in less than 20 minutes
    3) Spend the rest of the day alternating between shame-crying in the shower and dry-heaving.
