Without knowing what you're currently eating, it's hard to recommend vitamins for you. It's going to be very individual, based on what you aren't currently getting from your diet.0

Next time you have a physical, the doctor will tell you if you're deficient and how much to take.
Megadoses of vitamins can be harmful, so it's best to avoid them if you don't really need them.
A cheap multivitamin will be as good as the GNC ones and will cost less. Other than that, never take any pill that the doctor hasn't advised. While you might just pee the extra out, you could end up sick because you OD'd on the vitamin. Be careful!
The people at GNC act like they know what they're talking about, but they don't! They're playing the role of someone who is qualified to advise you, but they aren't. Don't trust them! Their business is selling vitamins. Your doctor's business is keeping you healthy. Ask the doctor, not the salespeople.0 -
Unless you have a particular symptom that points to a deficiency, you need nothing more than can be found in a multivitamin (for men). Women need slightly different vitamins and minerals.
Nearly everyone in North America is deficient in vitamin D so you could take more of that.
Fish oil contains the Omega's which are supposed to be good for controlling cholesterol. Do you have high cholesterol?
For a hard working man who works out, I'd think it is more important to pay attention to your macros; fats, carbs, and protein. The rest will take care of itself.0 -
Take a multi if you want... any brand will do.
Other than that, ask your doctor who will let you know if you are deficient and need anything.0 -

As for multivitamins, I find I like the Nature's Way Alive Women's Energy multi, they make a Men's equivalent. I find it at Walmart and froofy health food stores. This is what it looks like: http://i5.walmartimages.com/dfw/dce07b8c-1a6d/k2-_04621a79-05f4-4beb-b017-6791f42b9339.v1.jpg0

Look for vitamin packs (multiple tablets/caps). Single tablets have insufficient amounts of pretty much everything.0
