I've been doing fairly well staying within my carb/calorie limit. Today I decided to have a big plate of fried calamari (fried in almond flour not wheat flour). It was delicious, but about halfway through the plateful I was full, and just stopped eating.
I'm may have gone a little over my calories for the day, but before I started watching calories/carbs, I would have just kept eating.
I feel like I can enjoy food now without just eating for the sake of eating.

Thats great. I have also done better today than i thought i would do. Its my husbands birthday so we've had lots of food and cake, but like yourself i just couldnt eat what i normally would have done in the past. yes i have gone over my calories but only by about 300 so im really happy with that.

    Well done to you :)

That sounds like a great victory... internal change that is sticking! Habits :)

I bought myself one packet of instant noodles (with all the oily flavour sachets) to eat a few days ago, and then I decided I didn't feel like it after all. Its still in the cupboard, and I'll eat it at some point, but I feel really good that I don't have to eat it just because its there.
