Do ye get your clothes altered now or wait till finished and then get them altered?
I seem to be spending a fortune getting clothes altered. Some of the ones that I have are too big and don't make me feel nice but I'm not finished losing weight.

I don't wear clothes that are really nice enough to warrant alteration. However, I am going to be in need of khakis for work and jeans for my usual activities.
I'm waiting to buy more. I don't want my pants hanging off me 2 months after I buy them.0 -
You can use cute belts to cinch in a blouse or dress. Tuck in your shirts for pants that are slightly too big or wear a long shirt on the outside. In Southern California I would recommend shopping at second hand or consignment shops where you'll find gently used items at reasonable prices. If you must buy pants, get just a couple and wear them more than one day or wash more than once a week until you get to a steady size. I certainly understand having expensive items altered, shop for a lower priced seamstress in your area. Congrats on your success!0
