If you add Flaxmeal to coffee, the flax meal will just sink to the bottom right?

Or does it stay floating for at least 10 minutes?
My coffee is plain maxwell house and I add half a cup of skim milk.

Bought two bags of Flaxmeal on sale and realizing that it moves slow and expires soon.
I would love to eat a little bit each day, but do not know how to "incorporate" it.
It's just sitting there.

I looked up recipes, and they all have added sugar - not something I really want to do.
It's all muffins and pancakes - I want something better - easier, that I can fit in my daily routine.
Plus I really hate mixing flours, and baking goodies (just not me).
I would also like to start eating half a cup of blueberries every day.
I know I can sprinkle on cereal and oatmeal. I'm not a cereal eater, but will start if I have to.
Looks like I have no choice - no choice

    I do all sorts with it. I stir it in to yoghurt, add it to gravy etc.

    One of my favourite ways is to melt some coconut oil and add it too it with some protein powder added and some mixed chopped nuts. Then set it in the fridge in small squares.

    Mash it up with cream and cocoa powder to make a sort of pudding. Mix it into a milk / protein shake. I think it would be weird in coffee, but a cheap electric frother would help incorporate it.

    These are good suggestions, I want to add that the "expiration" date isn't when it actually goes bad. Foods are usually good long past that day, as long as they are stored properly.

    Store flaxmeal in the freezer. It keeps much better that way.

    yes you can store it in the freeze i do this too.

    And here some other idea's how i use it.

    * in oats
    * in every baked food recipes like cakes and bread etc
    * one of my favorites a cookie: some stevia, oats peanutbutter flax seed some cocoa powder and cinnamon. Roll it into bite size pieces yummieeee
    * in other kind of homemade (vitamin/fruit/protein) bars
    * in plain yogurt or with all the other toppings :)
    * another favorite use is for breading chicken or fish instead of bread crumbs.
    * in a smoothie
    * Mashed potatoes with flaxseed and butter and walnuts...yummieee

    and the list goes on :)
    Pinterest is a good source to look up what people do with it.

    I add flaxmeal to many things I eat, but never to anything I drink. Putting it in coffee sounds totally bizarre to me. Try adding to soups, casseroles, cereals, salads, pancakes, breads, etc.

    The mashed potatoes with flax and walnuts sounds fab, I'll try that. Thanks :)
