so it's definitely a challenge getting our bodies back after pregnancy and I know there are some skinny women who don't even have to work hard to get the perfect body after giving birth! how have you ladies done it and I'm talking about those who put 1-3 or more stones. . how do we get that flat tummy back?

Eat less and move more. If breastfeeding, set mfp to lose 1 lb/week and add in 300-500 extra calories to feed baby. But don't start any sort of calorie restriction until you're at least 6 weeks post-partum. I've lost 12 lbs since September eating 2200-2700 calories a day (but I'm pretty active too). I gained 30 lbs with this baby but had only lost half of the 67 I gained with my first when I got pregnant so I'm working on losing that weight too.

I gained 25 lbs with my pregnancy. After I got the all clear from my OB at 6 weeks I began light exercise and tracked my food intake (while allowing more for breastfeeding). At 17 weeks post-partum I had lost all of that weight. It was steady and sustainable and I had to keep a sharp eye on my milk supply.

So I'd say it was logging consistently, everyday. Using a food scale to accurately measure my portions. And then doing light exercise when I have the time (which let's face it, is pretty non-existent).
