Devastated with new android app

Hi,

I only started last week to use MFP and found it brilliant. What helped was that my polar loop band was updating my calorie allowance when I synced it with my iPhone. I purchased new android phone today and only then I found out that it won't sync with MFP app. Any suggestions how to calculate allowance myself or what activity band is compatible with MFP on android? Feeling disappointed now. Just about when I thought I have all tools to succeed this time :-(
