Modified Dukan Diet!!!

I really hate the word diet so I'll change it to Modified Dukan "Plan". After reading about it and speaking to a few people I decided to incorporate many of the Dukan ways mainly because I feel that for me refined carbs and sugars stall my weight loss. Everyone is different but for me personally I will try to follow a very clean and simple plan. The first phase of this plan does not allow any other foods other than lean protein and non-fat, for me this phase lasts 4 days, I'm on day 2. I incorporated avocado and a few raw nuts into my day. The Oat Bran fiber that they advise you to have daily really helps, is filling and you can make pancakes with it. After these four days I can eat any lean protein, many vegetable including pumpkin, squash beets etc. as well as low fat dairy, to me this might work because it suits my style better. Also, very important is to drink tons of water which I already do an exercise most days even if it's a 20 minute walk. Lastly, I will definitely be making sure to eat enough calories, I won't be cutting back calories at all, might even increase it a bit, see how it goes. Well I will check in on my progress and I hope this helps anyone who is considering changing their outlook a bit.

    How did this work out for you? My wife wants to do the Dukan diet but i'm concerned it's the Atkins diet reborn. Would love to hear about your experiecne with this.
