So about 3 years ago I lost 83lbs by using mfp and exercising, and here I am having gained almost all of that back. I don't even understand how I let that happen, I don't know why I didn't nip this *kitten* in the bud 40lbs ago, 20lbs ago, etc, but I just kept on ignoring it. My daughter is 15months old and I've been going to "get it under control" for a year and nothing. I have every excuse under the sun, no gym access (when I lost my weight I became a big gym rat, mainly because it was my kid free time lol and picked up a love/hate relationship with running), my son won't sit in the stroller and let me run, now the stroller is broken, I don't want to wake up early to exercise, etc etc etc. Yea, I'm ridiculous. This all has to stop today.
I'm 256lbs. My goal right now is to just become more active, I'm a sahm and I have a sewing business, so it's a lot of sitting around the house. My family and I have started hiking on the weekends, and I'm loving it, we're hoping to slowly progress that to camping and other outdoor activities, so we can all be healthier and happier. I'm saving for a treadmill because the stroller really is broken lol but until then my daily fitness goals are to walk at least 30mins a day with the kids, and get up and dance with the wii in the mornings before they get up.
I have some serious issues with food that I need to tackle,I have a problem with finding that middle ground of healthy eating, I'm either at minimal food intake or binging. Just going to take it day by day and focus on meeting these number goals.
Feel free to add me if you're on the same journey, I'd really appreciate some active friends that check in and want someone to check in on them, ask what they've done today, how they're doing, acknowledge our victories and setbacks, push each other to do better.
