Will going out to eat on the weekends once in a while mess with your weight. I try to look at menu and nutrition first and make sure.

    Where you eat doesn't matter. Only how much you eat is important.

    I do find it a bit more difficult to control myself if there is an abundance of food available. The typical serving size in a USA restaurant is actually two or three servings.

    Most of the places we choose when we eat out don't have nutrition information posted. I just order based on the description of how it's prepared and whether I care if I go over my normal calories or not.

    I assume I'll have some bloating after since nearly all restaurant meals are considerably higher in sodium than I'm used to.

    Yes, I try to go online and look at the menu first to make choices. Almost everybody has a variety of entree salads, and you can get them without cheese or croutons or dressing. And most restaurants nowadays show calories counts, which is very cool and helpful!

    A rule that I used in the past that was pretty helpful was to eat half of what is brought to you, and take the rest for another meal.

    I try to go with a healthy appetizer or two. It gives me more variety
