It's the Little Things That Matter....

This morning I got my body composition done, as earlier posted, and as many have you told me -- they're not super accurate so I shouldn't be concerned about that number. It definitely didn't go the way I was hoping.. so that was at 5:15 AM. Got a phone call around 10:30 AM saying I didn't get the job that I so badly had wanted. So, two things bringing me down today....
Normally I would have gone right to food to seek comfort, but I didn't. I stuck to my plan and talked myself out of going to food for solace. Sometimes it's the little things like this that show us how far we really have come....

Good for you!
My gym gives free 'body composition' evaluations as well. Last time they told me that the 3 pounds I had lost in the last 3 months, while doing strength training 3x a week, were only lean mass... even though I lost like 10 inches in that time too. That was 1.5 years ago, haven't gone back since... still lost inches since (even though I haven't lost more weight).
Life is too short to worry about inaccurate measurements.

I did a hand held device that said I was 25.2% -- I did that one about a month ago. One of the trainers told me to do a more accurate testing... which was this morning. And that one said I was 30.4%! And this has been after 5 weeks of consistently lifting 3x per week and doing cardio days. I've lost 8 pounds in that time and inches on my waist. There's nooooo way I'm at 30%! Unreal....0 -

This is the kind of change that really should be celebrated. Just being aware that you could have gone there is such an important step.
