I am 56 years old and have over 100 lbs. to lose :/ I don't know how I have let myself get to this point, but I have. I am SO tired of feeling bad and using food to try to solve my problems. My husband doesn't have any weight to lose, in fact because of some health issues with him he has lost weight. It seems like the more I try the worse it gets. I would like to say this is the first time at trying to lose the weight, but it is not and I have failed over and over again. I want to lose this weight and feel better! Going to try to just take it one day at a time and would appreciate any help that anyone has to give to help me on this journey....sometimes I feel all alone at this!

You are not alone. I know you can do this. You need to believe in yourself. My Mom, who is older than you, has lost enough weight that she is two sizes smaller than my high school size. Which has me motivated me to become two sizes smaller than my high school sizes too!

you are taking the first step ... i just started (again) as well... i'm a week in now. I've done this before, in my early 40's, then let it all come back. i'll be 50 next summer. Its a lot of getting over our fears and anxieties that hold us back and keep us turning to those high fat addictive foods for comfort. Stay Strong and dont give up. Better now at 56, then at 66 .
