Why Do People Set Mini Goals?

Because it hasn't existed as long. Our maintenance posts used to be in the general forum, so they are part of the 6,000.
Also because people generally only post there if they have queries or trouble with maintenance.0 -

For me personally, my ultimate goal is 135 lbs. But my starting weight was 330 lbs. So that's almost 200 lbs to lose. That's a very scary number. So I set 20 pound goals. But in the past I have had an eating disirder, and looking at that bug goal makes me want to go back to starving, dier pills, and laxatives.0
