There is another thread with beautiful food pics. This is not that thread.

Here is the inspiration: a fresh salad made with roasted butternut, avo, feta, beetroot, cashews and salad greens.

Here is what my attempt looked like. Nailed it!

Lol, gotta love it. I'm sure it was still tasty.

Lol! Did it taste good anyways? I don't have any pics but I'm one of those people who end up with something weird looking anytime I try to make something with more than 3 ingredients! I don't know how all those food bloggers and Pinterest people do it!

My salad was tasty, as long as I didn't look at it!

I made the mistake of preparing it in a cute layered salad container, which was adorable until I shook it up and poured it on to a plate, at which point the beetroot stained everything and the remaining bits looked like clots. The avo went brown a minute later too :)

Before I poured it - I had such high expectations. *sigh*

@Francl27 - it looks like you basted it with choc sauce!

Tomorrow I photograph my overnight oats. Those creations are always *special*

That cake was very tasty though, to be fair.

It all looks the same when it's been chewed up. The taste is what matters! :)
