Are Cortaid and Relacor effective cortisol reducers, or are they also marketing gimmicks? Anyone have any success using them?

Yes the folks that sell it find they can make your wallet lighter. Don't waste your money.

As for evidence that cortisol blockers cause weight loss, the Federal Trade Commission charged the marketers of some cortisol blockers with making false and unsubstantiated claims about their products' effectiveness. As a result, the companies had to pay millions of dollars in refunds and to stop making unproven claims about their products.

Not that effective.

Also cortisol ISN'T that bad to have. Too much yes, but cortisol is produced when exercising. Any stress to the body will produce cortisol, it's the event of what causes it to over produce that should be addressed IE stress.
