Just wondering what little tips people have to keep yourself motivated?

I remind myself that I didn't lose all this weight just to gain it back.

I want to lose weight, and keep that weight off, to look better, feel better and be healthier. I know what I need to do to do what I want to do. Since I know what I want to do and what I need to do to do that, there is my motivation. No one can help me do what I want to do just as no one can make me do that which I do not want to do.

We get the bodies we want. What do you want? Go get it.

Two of my little mantras are:

"Eating today the way I ate in the past is like hitting my thumb a second time with a hammer to see if I really didn't like the results the first time..."

"This is not a RACE. This is NOT a RACE. Patience jacka$$!" (Sometimes I don't like to listen to myself)

Other than that little mental game, testing out what makes me happy regarding calorie consumption. Life-style eating habits (because I think the "d" word is crap) are about finding a sustainable way to eat so that goals can be achieved and maintained. If we are making ourselves miserable with our eating habit methods, then they probably aren't going to work long term.

As long as I am at a deficit for the week, I don't care if I was over the static target for 1 or 2 days. It's still not a race.
