Just because you're tired doesn't mean you're lazy

So, lately I have been feeling so down and out. I was tired, sluggish, moody, etc. I gained the weight back that I’d lost earlier this year and I was really beating myself up about it. I felt like I was just lazy and deserved to be “fat”. Then I spoke to a woman and she advised me to start taking B12 vitamins. She said she had felt the same way and that was her problem. So, I started taking B12 vitamins on Friday/Saturday because I was feeling very sluggish. I was always tired, never wanted to get out of bed, and was just in an overall bad mood all the time. Anyway, like I said, I started taking B12 vitamins on Friday/ Saturday and I feel SO much better. I have more energy. I actually played with my dog yesterday and got out of bed to get ahead on my cleaning and get a jump start on laundry. I did meal prep yesterday too. I slacked on breakfast this morning, though. I was supposed to have brown rice and scrambled egg whites, but I was watching TV this morning and forgot to cook the eggs. Haha. So I just had cheerios with skim milk and 1 tbsp of sugar. Speaking of sugar, my sugar cravings have even curbed significantly. I don’t absolutely have to have it anymore and it’s SO easy to just say “No, thank you” if it’s offered. Or to just tell myself, “Nah, you don’t need that unless you’re going to work off the extra calories (which you’re not lol)”. I just feel better overall and wanted to share and thank her for being understanding and offering her advice instead of just writing me off as “lazy” and “making excuses” like others (and I) did. Anyone care to share times when they’d fallen off of the “healthy bandwagon” and how they climbed back up?

There are so many things going on in life. Set your priorities and pursue them one step at a time.0

When I feel like I want to give up, eat slice after slice of cake or some other silly thing (I say silly because that's exactly what it is. I know putting thousands of extra calories in my body is not going to turn out well. So why do it) I also know that exercise has been key to controlling my depression and anxiety. So why would I NOT go take a walk?!
Anyway, when I feel those just forget it feelings coming on I look at pictures of myself. Pictures from when I started at 222lbs and pictures now. I took them in only panties and although I've only lost 13lbs I can see a huge difference. I pick up my phone at least once a day and look at those pictures. I know I don't ever want to weight 222 again. I know I want my depression controlled and if I sit in the house all day it would not be good for me. That is what keep me going.0
