I've lost over 100lbs before. Story of my life. I have never ever been the same size for more than a few months, ever. I am a champion dieter...I should be a nutritionist for all I know about eating right....but I just can't seem to maintain and be "normal". But I'm also a champion weight gainer. It seems that I have to ALWAYS be dieting and record every bite I eat FOREVER and I have to be OBSESSED with what I'm eating or not eating.
Long story short....I'm looking for some friends who are doing this the right way, trying to live a normal life, and not being obsessed with dieting. I know what I'm doing, I just have to do it...in a less hard core crazy kinda way...if you know what I'm saying. I'm hoping to get married soon and have kids, so I'm getting my body ready for that and to finally maintain it so I can play with my future little children and raise them to be healthy.
I'm not really into cheer leading or motivation overload...maybe just some people to share my angry thoughts with when I can't eat what I want to eat! lol

Hi pickle juice, I completely relate with your desire to get to a place of normalcy with food and weight so that it doesn't consume your thoughts and become obsessive. This time around I wanted to do things a little differently and in my research I happened upon a group on MFP called eat more 2 weigh less EM2WL. They have a healthy approach to dieting and eating and I figured why not give it a try since the typical diet I'm accustomed to really has failed me time and again in the long haul. I am looking for permanent results that I can maintain and not feel like I always have to be on a diet. Still just testing those waters and really trying to figure it out myself, but it was worth a shot for me. Check it out.0

You're not the only "champion" here!!!! I'm in totally the same boat. I think I've lost weight and had to start over again 6 times in the last 10 years!! I too have to track and watch every morsel I put in my mouth, but I try not to obsess over it or I'll go nuts and turn into a total bee-otch!!!!!! Just wanted to let you know you're not alone!!0
