Should you just record an entry that's close to what you ate on here if you can't find all the nutritional values from what you really ate?

Like...for lunch I'm going to make a chicken sandwich, publix brand sliced lemon pepper chicken, light mayo, tomatos, alpine lace swiss cheese on white bread, now I know nobody has anything close to that, but I can't find the nutritional value nor do I really have the time to calculate them, so should I try to search for something similar?

What I do is find the nutritional value of it the first time...then save it as a meal. The way they make "meals" work now, it's easy enough to alter it a bit later for the next meal I have that is similar to it.

I know it may take a little longer, but maybe you should try looking up the individual items and add them all separately. That's what I tend to do and it works out pretty well for me. It's more accurate than just choosing something close and you are more certain about the serving sizes that way too. Hope this helps!

I have that problem a lot, since I'm oversea and our food is mostly very different to the things I find here in the database. Usually I log every single part of what I eat as its own and save it as a meal. This way I have to do it only one time.
