Jawbone calorie burn help

Hi all

I've recently got a jawbone up3. I'm confused about whether it counts the calories burned during exercise? The way it describes the heart rate tracker feature is just to track resting heart rate. Today it says I'll burn around 1800 calories which is what I would expect based on my height and weight (67kg and 172cm) if I weren't doing any additional exercise. However I cycle for an hour and 15 minutes everyday commuting to work. When I've worn a polar 7 HRM it says I burn around 300-450 cals on this. Am I supposed to log this and add it to the 1800 so I'm at least 2100 for the day or will the jawbone have included this in the 1800? Hope the latter although annoying you have to log it and it can't track that sort of thing.

Any replies much appreciated :)

I have the UP2. You can log exercise into the app. Open the app, click on the plus sign at the bottom. The orange icon with the running man. From the drop down, you can select activity, duration, time and intensity.
