Question on my diet????????

So for the most part my diet consists of chicken, slamon, and assorted veggies. I just wanted some input on if this is good and maybe what other things i can include. I am trying to cut down on body fat fyi.

You should be having some fats in your diet as well. The salmon has fat but not as much as your body needs. Are you following the recommended MFP macros or just concentrating on your calories?

Fruit, whole grains, and fats. Eating fat does not make you fat. Avoiding fat won't make you lose fat. Eating at a deficit over time will help you to lose weight. Doing strength training at the same time will help to make the loss be predominantly from your fat stores.

Take a closer look at your macros...protein, carbs and fats primarily unless you have a medical reason to watch your sugar and sodium. Work at trying to find a good balance and still eat things you love. Whatever you do, remember that this is a lifestyle, lifelong change not just a quick fix. So, if you love burgers, have one every once in a while. Find something you can sustain over the long haul. If you are too restrictive in your food, you won't be satisfied.

agree with the others replies! eating good fats that fit your macros will not increase your body fat :)

It just sounds very dull. Adding some variety will keep you from getting bored and derailing. Sweet potatoes are a yummy addition, a good fat like avocado and various nuts

You should be focusing on both. They are not mutually exclusive. Lift heavy and hit your protein goals.

Eat what you like, as long as it fits your goals.

I make room every day for a piece of good dark chocolate and a small (4 oz) glass of wine.
