Got this off my facebook and wanted to share.
Be patient with your progress.
Fitness is a quest, a never ending journey to be just a little better! Fitness is a celebration of health, a blessing, a choice many don't have. Be joyful. Be appreciative of your body. This body that does so much for you!
If your progress has you depressed or discouraged - change your perspective. Pursuit of perfection or progress according to an unrealistic expectation will only leave you unfulfilled.
Remember....
YOU ARE BLESSED
Health is a gift from God.
Fitness is a gift we give ourselves.
Don't compare your progress to others.
Have pride in your effort and waste no time on envy.
Those who sprint the first miles of a marathon quickly lose pace. They run out of energy and find themselves starting and stopping! Don't distract yourself by comparing yourself to someone whose been on this journey for years, they may have all day to spend in the gym or who has other areas of there life they may be neglecting.
Patience.
Enjoy the beautiful journey.
Recognize the smallest progress.
You're closer than you think.
Tomorrow is a better day!
You have the choice to make tomorrow that day!
The spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-2
